Peter Derrick, Mechanical Engineer, and 5 times honoree in “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers,” has been providing the best math education available to homeschoolers since 1991. His Classes, both Live & Online provide a clear, exciting learning environment with a high level of accountability. These Saxon courses are designed to prepare students for careers in math, science and engineering by providing them with a genuine understanding of mathematics. These courses are also appropriate for all students who need to make sense of math rather than, simply attempt to memorize meaningless steps.

The 2026 - 2027 school year schedule is now available.

Live Classes

We are currently down-sizing our Live Saxon Classes. Live Classes for 2026/27 are Alg. ½, Alg. 1, Alg. 2, & AdvM and will be taught in Dickinson

Online Classes

All of our Saxon Classes are available online with more or less individualized attention according to need. Online Classes include: M76, Alg. ½, Alg. 1, Alg. 2, AdvM, Calculus, & Saxon Physics.

Individualized Attention

While all students can contact us for assistance with questions, individualized attention is provided through checking & analysis of the student’s homework. Homework problems are commented upon, analyzed for logical layout, and corrections are followed through until the student has worked all problems accurately. Tuition cost for individualized programs varies according to how often we check daily work. For example: All Sets, every other Set, 1 out of 3 Sets, 1 out of 4 Sets, or all checked at home.

Special Program for Individual Needs

We also design special programs to meet various needs for students such as: entering in the middle of a course, needing Catch-up or Repair to begin a particular course, working at a different pace, etc.

Summer

Online work is available for individual needs (see above) as well as accelerated learning, such as working through an entire course in three months.

Placement tests are required for all new students and can be scheduled now.
